Whitney is a renowned strategic advisor who provides strategic guidance and support to clients to successfully navigate the most complex situations, including restructurings, chapter 11 cases, liability management transactions and crises.
Prior to joining C Street, Whitney was a partner at the global law firm Kirkland & Ellis LLP, focusing on some of the largest chapter 11 cases and out-of-court transactions. Whitney advised companies through complicated special situations, including Chesapeake Energy Corporation, Prima Wawona, Yellow Corporation, HONX, Inc. STX Filmworks, Inc., American Tire Distributors, Inc., and numerous others. In addition to Whitney’s company-side representations, Whitney regularly counseled private equity and investment funds, both in and out of court, and corporate governance matters related to sponsors’ portfolio companies.
