Matthew Butler
Vice President, Strategic Communications
Prior to joining C Street, Matthew was a Vice President at H/Advisors Abernathy. In this role, he provided strategic counsel to public and private companies undergoing special situations including hostile and friendly M&A transactions, shareholder activism, bankruptcy cases and restructuring transactions, high-profile leadership changes, and sensitive crisis matters. Matthew also has significant experience working with leading alternative investment firms and managers to develop and implement long-term public positioning plans that advance and protect their reputations across market cycles.
Matthew graduated from Trinity College (CT) with a B.A. in Economics and English.
