Drawing on his 20-year track record as a leading legal corporate governance advisor, and his experience as National Finance Chair for Kamala Harris, Jon founded C Street to help CEOs maximize value through the power of diversity, equity, and inclusion.
Jon is a trusted advisor to CEOs, C-suites, and Boards of Directors on highly complex issues spanning business, politics, and social justice. He founded C Street with a group of diverse professionals with whom he worked while serving as National Finance Chair for Kamala Harris’ Presidential campaign, Co-Finance Chair for Ray McGuire’s Mayoral campaign, and Co-Finance Chair for Jaime Harrison’s Senate campaign.
Previously, Jon was a Partner at Kirkland & Ellis for nearly two decades, where he was instrumental in building both the New York office and the firm’s market-leading restructuring group, which advised debtors in six of the top 10, and 12 of the top 20, largest bankruptcies of 2020. He has lectured at Harvard Business School, Wharton Business School, New York University, Wake Forest Law School, and Cardozo Law School.
Jon is the Chair of the Board of the Vice President’s Residence Foundation and the Co-Founder of the Foundation for Education in Honduras (FEIH). He serves on the Advisory Board of the Black Economic Alliance, the Board of Trustees of Union College, and the Boards of Directors of FEIH, CaringKind, and the Heart of Alzheimer’s Caregiving.
Jon earned his J.D. from Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law and his B.A. in History from Union College.
