Patrick Maks

Vice President, Strategic Communications

Patrick Maks is a strategic communications leader who has worked in the media, news and sports industries for more than a decade. He previously led communications for the CEO of Dow Jones, the publisher of The Wall Street Journal and one of the world's largest news and information services companies. He has also held senior roles at Condé Nast and The Associated Press. Maks has extensive experience in executive communications, media relations, crisis communications, internal communications and executive positioning.

 

A former journalist, Maks has also served as a staff writer for the NFL's Cleveland Browns, a regular contributor to The New York Times’s sports section and a beat reporter covering Ohio State athletics.

 

Patrick graduated from Ohio State University, with a BA in Journalism.
