What We're Looking For

C Street is looking for an energetic, highly organized project manager and administrative professional to become a core member of our DEI Advisory team. We are a small, highly collaborative unit bringing new approaches to DEI work and you will have the opportunity to grow with us. What You Will Do

  • Track and coordinate team meetings and client engagements to ensure maximum responsiveness and effectiveness of our team’s work

  • Assemble and synthesize materials for background dossiers on current and potential clients

  • Liaise with other C Street teams on cross-functional projects, getting hands on experience across the firm

  • Write, review, and edit client deliverables such as strategy recommendations, evidence-based organizational culture assessments, and program evaluations

  • Data collection and processing for thought leadership projects by DEI team

  • In collaboration with the rest of the team, develop plans to help clients mature their DEI programs

What You Will Need

Key Qualifications

  • Substantive interest in issues related to diversity, equity, and inclusion in complex organizations

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience

  • Strong organizational and time-management skills, including attention to detail and ability to balance competing priorities and multiple projects in fast-paced corporate environment

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Willingness to be in person several days a week with team in our Midtown East office, subject to COVID protocols, to foster team building, maintain culture of collaboration, and promote mutual learning and growth

  • Willingness to learn new concepts in a fast-changing field

  • Fluency in Microsoft Office or equivalent, Zoom conferencing, secure file transfer, and other modern office software, or ability to learn quickly

  • Ability to maintain a high level of professionalism when interacting with senior level executives

  • Proof of Covid-19 vaccination or legally acceptable exemption

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or advanced degree in related fields, including project management, Black/African American Studies, Ethnic Studies, Women and Gender Studies, Social Sciences, or similar fields

  • Project management experience in corporate, non-profit, public-sector, or academic setting

  • Experience coordinating work of remote or geographically remote team

  • High proficiency in Powerpoint design and/or Web design

  • Experience in DEI training in corporate settings
