What We're Looking For

C Street is looking for a Business Development & Operations Associate to provide support for multiple members of team as we grow our business. This role provides exposure to a fast-paced professional services business and the opportunity to grow with us. What You Will Do

  • Conduct market research, build target client lists, produce background reports, and provide actionable recommendations for potential clients and business development opportunities. 

  • Help develop pitch materials and proposals with the goal of securing client business.

  • Assist with managing C Street’s database, including data entry, quality control, tracking, and producing relevant reports.

  • Identify networking opportunities and thought-leadership conferences that C Street should attend; the Business Development & Operations Associate may be encouraged to attend some of these events and report back to the team.

  • Monitor current events and trends in the diversity, equity, and inclusion space. 

  • Partner closely with teams to support on-going client engagements.

  • Provide support on digital marketing campaigns, events, and other strategic growth initiatives.

  • Support with management of systems and procedures across operations, Information Technology, and Human Capital Management functions.

  • Help with expense management to support company financial modeling.

  • Support planning of events, including team meetings, offsites, and social events.

  • Research and draft materials for C Street’s three pillars: DEI Advisory, Talent Advisory, and Communications & Public Affairs Advisory. 

  • Assist with scheduling and project management tasks, as needed.

What You Will Need

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Good judgment, with ability to make sound and timely decisions

  • Strong organizational skills, including attention to detail and ability to balance competing priorities

  • High degree of responsiveness, including evenings and weekends, as needed

  • Tech savvy, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with experience in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint, and aptitude to learn new software.

  • Proof of vaccination or religious or medical exemption

  • Willingness to be in person several days a week with team in our Midtown East office, subject to COVID protocols, to foster team building, maintain culture of collaboration, and promote mutual learning and growth
