Head of Talent Advisory
With a deep understanding of how companies and corporate boards operate, Beth Kojima, C Street’s Head of Talent, is able to find the most qualified diverse talent to meet each organization’s needs
Beth began her career at Goldman Sachs, working in the Investment Management and Investment Banking divisions. Within investment banking, she worked in the Financial Institutions Group, assisting companies on corporate advisory and transactions. Beth went on to work in Equity Capital Markets, and then moved over to the Private Equity Group working primarily on strategy for the Vintage Funds, Goldman’s secondary market effort.
Beth subsequently worked at a hedge fund, TPG-Axon Capital, for 11 years as the Partner in charge of Investor Relations and Strategy. At TPG-Axon, she helped lead and oversee strategic initiatives for the firm and led all investor-related efforts, including the managing existing client relationships, as well as sourcing of new business opportunities. Beth went on to co-found an ongoing-education concept, Never Stop Learning (NSL). NSL connects curious individuals and lifelong learners with experts across all disciplines, ranging from politics to science to the arts to finance. Beth helped to curate content by interviewing experts to add to the NSL roster of speakers and helped create a robust membership community of individuals interested in ongoing learning. Beth also brought in numerous corporate clients to engage NSL services for their employees and relationships. Beth is also the co-founder of a dessert delivery business, Synful Eats, an indulgent set of treats produced by Michelin experienced chefs that are delivered to the home.
Beth most recently served as the Director of Strategic Partnerships for Ray McGuire’s Mayoral Campaign. On the campaign, Beth was responsible for leading and developing the numerous coalition groups (e.g., Arts for Ray, Women for Ray, LGBTQ for Ray, Sports for Ray) in support of Ray. In this capacity, Beth created the programming for events and creatively brought together and engaged the various coalition groups in support of the campaign.
Beth graduated from Duke University, magna cum laude, and received her M.B.A., beta gamma sigma, from Columbia Business School. She serves as a Trustee of the New York Public Library and The Chapin School, and is on the Trinity Board of Visitors for Duke University.
